We were required to sign a release acknowledging varmints and pests would be present during our stay. The "mobile home" cottage was very clean but we didn't have to wait long to understand why we had to sign. It was an interesting experience.
I would give it 5 stars if it didn't smell like an old woman's closet upon entry. I liked the friendly staff. Parking was great.
We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom condos. The house was not clean. Dead bugs all in the windows. Microwave was very greasy and dirty. The yard was awful. Grass was very high and sticks everywhere. They told us check in time was 4 but the people ahead of us could check in at 2. Not worth $200 a night. The newer rentals they have may be better.
Bloody joke this place is. We had booked a bunch of Cabins for June back in January as we planned on having our wedding on the lake. Plans had changed come March so we called to cancel all of the cabins (well in advance I may add). The young man my husband spoke with said all was good to go as everything had been cancelled. When I went to look at my credit card statement at the end of June I was shocked to see a transaction of $338.89. We have called numerous times asking for a refund as we weren't even in the country, and the refuse to give us our money back. They claim my husbands family went there to visit and have lunch with them! Funny thing is they were all up in Canada with us at our wedding. They must think money grows on trees or something. Simply absurd. I am utterly disgusted by the way we have been treated by these people and would NEVER recommend this place. They deserve negative stars. Don't waste your time or money coming here. Such a scam. No compassion at all from these people.
