Enjoyed our tour of Lakeport Plantation. Arkansas State University did a great job restoring this piece of Arkansas history.
I really enjoyed my visit. I was slightly disappointed it wasn't furnished but the information I received was excellent and my guide extremely knowledgeable. It was $5 a person. Remember to bring cash or a check because they don't take debit or credit cards.
Far better than I had expected. Since there was no one there, it was just our family. The tour guide stayed after closing to finish with us. Excellent service.
A hidden gem between the cotton fields! Our guide had a passion for history and knew so much, it was really a wonderful experience!
